      Music at Fairmount

Music plays an integral part of our worship here at Fairmount and there are opportunities for all to become a part. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings at the times listed.

Adult Choir – This talented group sings in worship most Sundays. Practices are held from 7:50 - 9:00 p.m. Our director of music is Steve Rosenberg.

The Followers – This is a singing group for youth in 7th through 12th grades. Rehearsals are from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. The Followers sing in Worship once a month and prepare a musical which they perform on tour each year. The Followers director is Rob Koontz.

Heritage Ringers – This group is for adults intersted in being handbell ringers. Rehearsals are from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. They add beautiful sounds to our worship once a month. The Heritage Ringers director is Mindy Way-Johnson.

Joyful Ringers and Chimers – During Wednesday School children from 1st through 6th grades have an opportunity to learn play handbells and chimes. The children perform during worship 2 or three times each year. Their director is Mindy Way-Johnson.

Other musical talent is frequently part of our worship services including guests soloists, instrumentalists, and vocal ensembles. Your musical talents are welcome here!
